About +
Electra Simon is a London-based artist whose practice explores the fluidity of identity, memory, and the self through painting and drawing. Working primarily with figurative, emotive imagery, her work reflects both personal experience and broader cultural narratives, inviting a deeper examination of how we construct and perceive our sense of self.
At the heart of Electra’s work is Confessions, an ongoing project where individuals share personal stories, which she then translates into ambiguous visual language. Through this interactive process, she explores the idea that identity is not fixed but continuously shaped by the interplay of experiences, perspectives, and external forces. By peeling back the layers of the self, her work seeks to reveal the interconnectedness of all, offering a glimpse into the oneness that transcends individual identity.
