Electra Simon is a London-based artist whose practice explores the relationship between memory, architecture, and proximity through painting, drawing, and participatory structures. Her work is concerned with how spaces activate memory, and how memory in turn becomes embedded within surfaces, interiors and landscapes. At the centre of her practice is Confessions, an ongoing project in which individuals anonymously share personal stories that are translated into symbolic paintings and site-responsive works.
Recent solo exhibitions include Confessions at Harlesden High Street, London (2026); Confesiones at BATE Social Store, Madrid (2025); and Confessions at Takeover Gallery, Beirut (2024). Group presentations include Silencio Solutions hosted by Rose Easton, London (2026); Moments for Lebanon, Paris (2026); Maison Pan, London (2025) and Everything is Going Upside Down, Islamabad (2024). She has participated in residencies at Domaine de Boisbuchet, France (2023), Dastaangoi, Islamabad (2022), and upcoming Cadzand AIR (2026).
