Electra Simon is a London-based artist working across painting, drawing and participatory installation.
Her practice explores how experiences move between people, through spaces and into images, and how memory can become embedded within surfaces, interiors and landscapes. Her work moves through three interconnected processes: installation, cartography and excavation, from the gathering of individual stories to their translation and reworking through collage, drawing and painting.
At the centre of her practice is Confessions, an ongoing site-responsive project in which individuals share personal stories that become the starting point for new works.
Recent solo exhibitions include Confessions at Harlesden High Street, London (2026); Confesiones at BATE Social Store, Madrid (2025); and Confessions at Takeover Gallery, Beirut (2024). Group presentations include Silencio Solutions, hosted by Rose Easton, London (2026); Moments for Lebanon, Paris (2026); Maison Pan, London (2025); and Everything is Going Upside Down, Islamabad (2024). She has participated in residencies at Domaine de Boisbuchet, France (2023), Dastaangoi, Islamabad (2022), and Cadzand AIR (2026), and will join Sarabande Foundation’s studio residency programme in London for 2026–27.
