01 CONFESSIONS [INSTALLATION]
The first stage of my process is about constructing a space for connection through Confessions installations.

Confessions is my ongoing site-responsive installation and participatory project that explores how experiences move between people, through spaces and into images.
The installation takes the architecture of the confessional as a starting point, placing it within new settings like galleries and other public spaces, exploring the boundary between public and private.
Sat on either side of a divider, participants are invited to share a memory, thought, experience or secret while I listen and draw. What is spoken or sensed passes through the conversation and into the artwork. The resulting images are intuitive rather than illustrative, drawing on fragments, associations and forms that emerge as the conversation unfolds.
Each installation is shaped by the architecture of the site it inhabits. Apart from the fundamentals, the materials, scale and arrangement change from place to place depending on what that specific space requires.
The first public installation of Confessions took place at Takeover in Beirut in 2024, followed by BATE in Madrid in 2025 and Harlesden High Street in London in 2026. Its next iteration will take place in Downtown Cairo in November 2026, sign up to find out more.
Confessions is currently in development across multiple cities, including London, Beirut, and Madrid. Featured in DAZED, PLASTER Magazine and CYTE magazine.
